Auckland Art Gallery

This art gallery is a treasure and Auckland is very fortunate to have such wonderful art on display. I have been to many overseas art galleries and our one measures up to them. Great exhibitions as well as their in-house collections. Whenever I visit I ensure I see the Gottfried Lindauer paintings. They are amazing. If you only go once, make sure you see these fabulous works of art. Highly recommended.

Visited during a recent stay in Auckland. Loved the exhibits. Certainly are current and well managed. The cafe wasnt too bad and the park like setting outside was lovely.

Great gallery exhibitions, modern feel with lovely setting onto Albert Park. Good shop and quite good cafe.

I absolutely love this place, a valuable treasure of Auckland City. Spacious, quiet, keep on eye out for any special exhibitions . This should be a place all Aucklanders should go visit!

This gallery is lovely and modern and has a great little cafe. The exhibitions are kept current and the kids area is fantastic to keep the children entertained. Parking is a problem in the CBD though.
