Auckland Art Gallery

The gallery has always some exhibitions that changes. It is interesting and free. The location just next to the central library is great because it is easily accessible. I really like the modern art exhibit here.

I absolutely love this place, a valuable treasure of Auckland City. Spacious, quiet, keep on eye out for any special exhibitions . This should be a place all Aucklanders should go visit!

I like that there is a kids area. We enjoyed exploring the cardboard city of tiny houses and getting to make our own. I wish that this area was refreshed more often though. If it changed every 3-4 months that would be better for families with young children (especially ones that only like art when it's hands on / kinaesthetic) but the creative learning area seems to run an exhibit for close to a year.

Great gallery exhibitions, modern feel with lovely setting onto Albert Park. Good shop and quite good cafe.
