Auckland Art Gallery

Very stylish art gallery right in central Auckland. They have some awesome art, especially paintings on show and when we were there they had a photography display, I can't remember who it was, but is was very cool. Nice and quiet and very relaxing place to visit.

This art gallery is located in the vinicity of Albert Park. I took a walk in the park before visiting the gallery. I spent half a morning viewing the exhibits. I particularly enjoyed the art works of a local artist, Judy Darragh. Admission was free. Guests would have to purchase tickets for entry to special art collections though. There was even complimentary wifi for visitors to tap on.

Small gallery but full of little gems. At the moment they are hosting the Corsini collecrion from Italy. Absolutely a must watch. Nice place to find a bit of peqce and gather thoughts while immerging in the beauty of arts in the middle of the chaotic CBD.

Great place to visit some nice piece of artwork. They sometimes change the theme of the artwork, it is always interesting to check them out. It is free and convenient to get to.

We visited during the school holidays and we all really enjoyed it. Our kids were fascinated by some of the really large sculptures and creations. The colourful sculptures hung near the entrance ceiling are beautiful. The children's area was interesting and creative. There are certain days that they do children related activities - would like to come along to one of those in the future.
