Baobab Cafe

Nice selection of food and a great atmosphere.

On a good day try their garden out the back. Great coffee and food. A true Newtown Institution

I often visit Baobab when I want to go somewhere for a catch up with a friend, it is the sort of place you can comfortably sit for hours and have a catch up. There is a very cute outside area out the back with a resident cat. They have live music from time to time and poetry events. The food is pretty good and the staff are friendly but it's the atmosphere that really make the place. Downsides are the sometimes limited range of cabinet food and the toilets can be quite grotty at times.

Fantastic beer selection, great ambience and their mouth watering Gaucho burger left few chefs speachless. Apsolutely love the option of the cozy outdoor area too!

Coffee was perfect and breakfast was tasty and filling. A great place for a casual brunch with friends.
