      Great place for weekend brunch and catch up with friends. Coffee was very well made and the meals were very tasty and good portion sizes. Has a great range of tasty vegetarian/vegan options. Reasonable prices. Would visit again.

      My favourite sunny spot in Newtown. Order the breakfast burrito and you won't be disappointed! Also recommend the Turkish Apple tea on a cold, windy day. Plenty of seating especially outside. Well worth the visit.

      Baobab Cafe is worth the journey to Newtown. It's one of Mum and my regulars when she comes to Welly. The staff are super friendly, and there's a delightful outdoor area, with a back yard feel, which is great in summer! I've caught a live band there at night—it was a bit cramped and noisy, good if you like socialising. They make a delicious vegan burger, and beautiful coffee. Give it a go!
