At Gengy's New Plymouth you can dine with a difference! Choose from the wide selection of meat, seafood, marinades & vegetables and add some sauces & spices. Then give your culinary creation to the Chef who will cook your meals to perfection on the special hotplate. Once cooked you can add rice, noodle or fried rice from the servery and enjoy your meal! You can then repeat this process as many times as you want!

I visited here with my extended family for my mother in law's birthday. Everyone LOVED the food. There is so much choice, everything is fresh, and the show put on by the cooks making your food in front of you is awesome. Recommend this place 100% if you ever get the chance to go.

Came here for a work dinner. It was a great experience. I love the fact that everything is fresh and cooked in front of your eyes. I have never been to a place like this before, and the food definitely exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly. The floor did seem a bit slippery when we walked on it, maybe a customer spilt something and it wasn't cleaned up otherwise i would have given 5 stars. I will be back again as the food was that good!
