At Gengy's New Plymouth you can dine with a difference! Choose from the wide selection of meat, seafood, marinades & vegetables and add some sauces & spices. Then give your culinary creation to the Chef who will cook your meals to perfection on the special hotplate. Once cooked you can add rice, noodle or fried rice from the servery and enjoy your meal! You can then repeat this process as many times as you want!

Visited here for a family birthday & I was pleasantly surprised. It was nice to see your meal being cooked right in front of you , knowing it was made fresh with fresh ingredients & you got your food hot & got to choose what ingredients you put in was fantastic. I found the food was delicious & cooked really well. Price was well worth it & we all enjoyed our night here , have returned many times again & always enjoy it

Been here for a couple of times now. The dining experience is always great. They cook your own food while you wait. Staff are nice and friendly. Highly recommended.

A family friendly interactive restaurant with great service and impeciable food. The price is reasonable for what is on offer.

Came in for a birthday dinner. Much better experience. It pays to go in early as a lot of the food is fresh and there isn't much of a line. Big thumbs up this time round.
