Welcome to the University Book Shop - Dunedin's finest book shop. We have a non-fiction selection that covers a wide range of subjects - from science to business, history to religion and everything in-between. Our fiction sections are unsurpassed in the South Island and we carry a wide range of classic, contemporary and new writers. We stock all Otago university and polytechnic textbooks, and also have 2nd hand textbooks available for those studying at the University of Otago. Our dedicated textbook store at UBS On Campus is conveniently located in the OUSA Archway. For our younger booklovers we have the captivating Children¿s Room and Book Shop downstairs, with story-time on the magic carpet every Friday and Saturday at 10.30am. Small shop with a wide range of literature and non-fiction, as well as the usual bestsellers tucked in amongst them. My first stop for anything literature or poetry related.

I ordered all of my course books online here. Always had what i needed and latest version. Delivery was prompt, overnight and packaged well to protect the books.

Best selection of books in town. Located perfectly for the students they cater so well for. Beautiful store in lovely old building. Reminds me of the bookstores you see on tv programmes. A real joy to shop here, all it needs is a cafe and it would be perfect.

Well stocked bookshop with many atest titles. Expensive though... ... There are also good bargains for older titles and the best it they have gift vouchers we can easily buy. I was a student in Otago University and I came here in 2015-17 to buy books with vouchers my children were awarded at Logan Park High school.

Best bookshop in the universe...well in Dunedin. Amazing selection of books and staff are really knowledgeable and helpful. I have been known to sit on the floor whilst deciding what book to spend my hard earned pennies on and nobody cares as it is that kind of friendly book loving place.
