Welcome to the University Book Shop - Dunedin's finest book shop. We have a non-fiction selection that covers a wide range of subjects - from science to business, history to religion and everything in-between. Our fiction sections are unsurpassed in the South Island and we carry a wide range of classic, contemporary and new writers. We stock all Otago university and polytechnic textbooks, and also have 2nd hand textbooks available for those studying at the University of Otago. Our dedicated textbook store at UBS On Campus is conveniently located in the OUSA Archway. For our younger booklovers we have the captivating Children¿s Room and Book Shop downstairs, with story-time on the magic carpet every Friday and Saturday at 10.30am. Discover the latest in electronic reading when you purchase a Kobo Glo E-Reader, associated accessories and e-books from us. Our staff are happy to demonstrate the E-Reader for you and assist with any questions you may have. This is a fantastic book shop. Dedicated specifically to books (a few small gift items available but books are the star of the show). They have the best, widest selection of books in Dunedin. The staff are very knowledgable and a great help. They have a fantastic kids section, and do story time a couple of times a week. The store is very well laid out and sign posted well. Bonus if you're a university staff member, show your staff ID for a discount.

lovely bookstore with nice atmosphere good selection of books and friendly staff. Also host many book launches which are always interesting to attend

Great selection of books, fantastic layout and friendly staff. Particularly like their children's section for the wide range of children's books and giant hungry caterpillar soft toy.

great little shop. they didn't have the book i was after but was more than happy to order it in for me and at a great price as well.
