Welcome to the University Book Shop - Dunedin's finest book shop. We have a non-fiction selection that covers a wide range of subjects - from science to business, history to religion and everything in-between. Our fiction sections are unsurpassed in the South Island and we carry a wide range of classic, contemporary and new writers. We stock all Otago university and polytechnic textbooks, and also have 2nd hand textbooks available for those studying at the University of Otago. Our dedicated textbook store at UBS On Campus is conveniently located in the OUSA Archway. For our younger booklovers we have the captivating Children¿s Room and Book Shop downstairs, with story-time on the magic carpet every Friday and Saturday at 10.30am. Discover the latest in electronic reading when you purchase a Kobo Glo E-Reader, associated accessories and e-books from us. Our staff are happy to demonstrate the E-Reader for you and assist with any questions you may have. I love this place, it's a beautiful shop and I can spend hours browsing. Good for textbooks and a really nice selection of regular books, both new and older.

Great bookshop in a cool old building. They stock all the book requirements for the university which is so helpful. I found the books a little expensive

Great bookstore, huge selection and range to choose from, love coming here to purchase gifts for friends and family, also the odd book for myself as well, great nifty store

I enjoy this place as it has a range of books and can find real old ones too . I brought my text books for uni here and was nice to get discounts on the books. I enjoy sitting here and seeing the books available and read the one I will buy.

I've bought all my textbooks here and often found them discounted. A great bookshop - they have a good variety of general books as well. The staff are very helpful. They have a side entrance for wheelchair access.
