Welcome to the University Book Shop - Dunedin's finest book shop. We have a non-fiction selection that covers a wide range of subjects - from science to business, history to religion and everything in-between. Our fiction sections are unsurpassed in the South Island and we carry a wide range of classic, contemporary and new writers. We stock all Otago university and polytechnic textbooks, and also have 2nd hand textbooks available for those studying at the University of Otago. Our dedicated textbook store at UBS On Campus is conveniently located in the OUSA Archway. For our younger booklovers we have the captivating Children¿s Room and Book Shop downstairs, with story-time on the magic carpet every Friday and Saturday at 10.30am. Discover the latest in electronic reading when you purchase a Kobo Glo E-Reader, associated accessories and e-books from us. Our staff are happy to demonstrate the E-Reader for you and assist with any questions you may have. Great book shop. I could have bought so many books on my visit... I was being good and came away with two! The staff in the book shop went out of their way to help with my enquires. Definitely will be going back

great selection of books. a little pricey though. great character but hard to find a park close by sometimes

Found my textbook here despite entering uni midyear which made it hard to look for things. Be sure to call to check if they have the book you need on hand as online details may not be up to date. Found mine by calling and having them set it aside.

Good selection of non-fiction and fiction books, textbooks and general stationary. Student discount with student ID is always a plus as well. Lovely and helpful staff!
