The Auckland War Memorial Museum

One of the the places you just have to go and explore for yourself. Iv been so many times and still find new things to see and do. A great way to learn about NZ History. Different exhibitions throughout the year. And free if your an Auckland resident.

Loads of parking around this area, but still sometimes hard to find a carpark. So much history in the museum, I bring my children here to learn about the battles and other things that this country has endured. The food here in the cafe is really expensive, but I like the coffees.

Great place to take the kids or just by yourself. So many things to see and New exhibits coming and going all the time. There is al and something new to see. Make sure you allocate a day to look through everything. The cafe on site does amazing meals and worth the lunch stop. Tad pricey but a nice treat. Free admission for Aucklanders so take a bill with you for validation. Plenty of on site parking. Friendly and helpful staff members that will show you where to begin and give you your tickets. The collection of memorabilia is just amazing and will take your breath away

This is my 2nd favourite museum in nz. It has alot of NZ history and is worth a long look through. Not as interactive as Te Papa but the kids still love going thru it.

Excellent experience from this museum. Highly recommended for a visit.
