The museum always has some great exhibitions on over school holiday times. The LEGO exhibition is great - although not free, the kids really enjoyed it. They also love the volcano part of the museum as its interactive. Can spend hours walking around and reading.

This place is free for Aucklanders and a wonderful place to go on a rainy day. The volcano area is good fun and my children love the weird and wonderful part.

An amazing place to take the kids to remember those past heroes who died so that we may be free

The war memorial is a wonderful museum, its nice to stroll the corridors and exhibits and get a feel for nz's great history.
