The Auckland War Memorial Museum

So much to see and some tactile stuff on offer for the kids as well. We loved Secret World of Butterflies exhibition. Very clean and the marble stairs are beautiful.

Best museum I've been to in NZ. Really has something interesting for everyone, be they kids, adults or seniors. If you have proof of residence, you can get in free as an Aucklander - however they would still like a donation if you can spare it. Parking around the Domain is pretty ample if you get there early enough, and there are plenty of staff around to give useful info. Recommended

A very fun and educational museum. Would recommend.

This is a great day out and so much to see, can be a bit busy on the weekends. Great how its free for locals

Great museum, very interesting exhibits and events. The building and surrounding park is beautiful. Good day trip for kids or adults.
