The Auckland War Memorial Museum

So much to see, free entry if you are an auckland resident. Lots of parking, and plenty of ground on the outside for kids to run around and play. There is also paid parking onsite (as well as free parking) and a cute little cafe that makes nice coffee.

Iconic museum, lots of exhibits

I enjoyed going here on recent visit to Auckland. I enjoyed the videos and voices from war from phones. We spent around 5 hours looking and talking and was good. I think cafe a bit over priced and parking takes time to find.

Such a great place to visit! The building itself is beautiful, full of things to learn for all ages. Can not reccomend visiting enough. It is a must see when visiting Auckland

We really enjoyed spending the day here. Although parking was a nightmare it took us a while to realise there was underground parking available. Really impressed with the great range in the gift shop.
