The Auckland War Memorial Museum

Free for NZ residents to visit or can give a gold coin donation. Special kids corner to keep the children entertained and also educate them about many things such as bugs and eco systems etc. Very hands on.

A fantastic day out with friends or family, I visit the museum multiple times a year and I've always found the staff to be very welcoming and helpful. The location is great, and is the perfect place for a picnic overlooking the city.

A place for somber reflection but also a place where you can bring your young to teach them so many things. New exhibits coming all the time but some of the old ones need a little work

Have always loved going here. I enjoy seeing the new exhibits but love seeing the staples too. Great place for familys. And theres something for everyone.

I always like going to the museum. It’s got lots of fun things to do especially with the kids. We had a good time exploring the ANZAC part of the museum and it was amazing. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The museum has elevators you could use also instead of just the stairs. The place is huge you there’s so much to see. The outside of the museum is beautifully designed and very peaceful atmosphere.
