The Auckland War Memorial Museum

Excellent attraction for a day out, free for Aucklanders with proof of address. This includes free entry to exhibitions that they run, we spent over two hours in the wildlife photography exhibition recently! The standard exhibits within the museum itself don't change very often, however.

a must visit if you are in auckland, loads of parking, could happily spend the day exploring this place, love to learn about our countrys history.

Amazing museum, such a great range of exhibits to suit young and old. Our kids LOVE the children area and they have a lot of interactive displays. They also have cultural performances at certain times. It is really worth making the effort to visit.

Great museum, very interesting exhibits and events. The building and surrounding park is beautiful. Good day trip for kids or adults.
