The Auckland War Memorial Museum

A great treasure to Auckland and New Zealand it has all of our history and is a wonderful place to visit. Everyone should go there at least one.

A real special place for aucklanders. And the domain is actually one of the many volcanoes we all live on. When visiting there, you re able to be transported to another time. With all the artifacts , many of which have been donated by the public on the death of family. There is also access for people to go the library and reserve material to be brought up from the archives. I did this on my great grandfathers papers. It was so cool. I got to see what he personally had written . Truly do recommend doing that. If the museum has your family records

I love this museum, i often go and wander around it by myself as a treat. There is so much to see and i always find something new to learn which is wonderful. There are always alot of people there, and everyone always seems to be enjoying themselves.

I loved the service I was given at the museum. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. There was so much interesting stuff, I gained so much knowledge. It was such a cool experience.

I strongly believe that every NZer should go to this museum at least once when in Auckland. The history and the information held in there about our country is informative and everyone should know about. Great that it is free and well worth a visit.
