The Auckland War Memorial Museum

Worth visiting. Great day out and a valuable treasure to see so much history.

Staff are professional, friendly and helpful. . I live the building with its mix of new amd old.
Just enjoyed the annual free maths craft activities in the fabulous event room with it 360 degree views of auckland. And we were amazed at the wildlife photography display..

It has a great history of the Maori people and the history of the first and second world war. It is free for Auckland residents but other tourists will have to pay to go in. There are
three floors, the top floor has all the names of soldiers who died in war, and every name on it is a real person, which makes us think about what the consequences of war is.

Great place to visit in a rainy day. So much to see and learn. They have made so many more child friendly areas as well which is great to take the kids along for.

Amazing! Such a magnificent place , lots of things to do and see with kids. Atomsphere is so peaceful
