      What a great icon of Auckland! The building are spectacular, the exhibits are an excellent show case of NZ history, a must visit for any visitor to Auckland. Also it’s free to any Auckland resident, just bring your proof of Address.

      For a small museum it covers all the aspects, especially if you are visiting Auckland first time. The Maori show is brilliant fun and huge waka in the entrance arena is amazing.
      The war memorial on the top floor is nice & also it's free for local residents.
