The Auckland War Memorial Museum

If you want to know more about the history of Auckland, you should go and see the Museum. Very nice place and friendly staff.

It's good to go somewhere and the staff actually know what they are talking about. you could spend hours and hours here. would be a great palace t take the kids over the holidays

I like to honor every Anzavc day by taking a trip to the museum. Its a great way to remind yourself what our country has been through.

Not just for tourists, this museum is great for locals too. Great place to take kids to learn the history of NZ.

Great museum to visit, it is interactive in parts and the Maori heritage is amazing to explore and learn about. The earthquake and volcano section is great for children to experience including the rumbling room!
