      The better of the three MacDonalds in Whangarei - This has a playground and a McCafe. Food is consistent with McD's, basically depends how busy they are. After School is full of school students which can be noisy and long waits for orders.

      Came to have dinner while driving through Whangarei was so disappointed. meal took 10 minutes (Boss burger and wrap). Wrap was dry and bland, boss burger was okay. Chips were cold and staff were busy but unhelpful. Would not return clearly the kitchen needed more staff. friends eating with us said that when they ordered their wrap with grilled chicken they were told 10 mins after ordering that there was no grilled chicken and they took another 10 mins to bring out a wrap with crispy chicken. Wouldn't recommend this Maccas.
