Weta Cave & Weta Cave Workshop Tour

Fantastic. My boys and I loved this tour. Well worth the money. Young English guide was amazing and you could tell he loved what he did. Is a wee way out of Wellington cbd but easy to get there by bus if you don’t have a car.

This is truly a must do when in Wellington. We did the tour with the bus from Wellington Central, which was very easy and convenient. The tour of the workshop was amazing with some of the artists explaining their techniques and showing off their work. Loved it!!!

I recommend Weta Cave for both international and domestic visitors.

At my most recent visit I did not do any tours. However, there is a collection of items in the store which are interesting to look at, as well as statues which you can take photos with such as Gollum.

Well worth a visit in my option.

Fascinating place to visit for LOTR fans! You need book a tour for visit and their tour guide is very informative and passionate.

A go to if you are visiting new Zealand or even a local! It's a must just absolutely great
