Sterling woodfire eatery and bar

Simply loved the atmosphere of the place and the staff was simply great. Offered good service. The food was amazing too.

The meals are nicely presented but I dined everyday of my stay at he Park Hotel and wondered if there were different chefs rostered. Some meals were hit and miss. The homemade food was excellent. The wait staff looked shabby one day, then the wait staff the next day looked well presented. Good coffee and orange juice. I probably wouldn't dine there again.

Very nice atmosphere and decor. The food is very good and served fresh. The staff are always helpful and polite, which is a big plus compared to a lot of other places!

We only got to have 2 breakfasts here - but there were great. They serve the most fabulous avo on toast with feta, red onion etc. the best I have ever had! There was just something different about it that made it so tasty. My husband had boring old poached eggs on toast which seems to be his favourite, but he did add that they were perfect. Service was good and quick, staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend coming here.

I have recently had two excellent dinners at Sterling. Both times the service has been great and the food very tasty and full of flavour. The servings are a good size (medium-sized). The main meals are more interesting than at many restaurants. For example, my chicken came with soft polenta, roasted whitloof and walnuts. Recommended.
