      As we are a one car family we are each also heavy public transport users with one or more family memvers using trains or busses every week day.. The busses and trains are good. Not always reliable though. Love the ease of using my snapper card to get around on the busses. We also rely heavily on the metlink website to check timetables, routes and for service updates. I am on this site multiple times every week.

      Hit and miss at it's finest. I've experienced utter chaos unfold at the train station when faults have occurred and no one knows what's going on. The buses are even worse mainly due to their unpredictability and the mood of the drivers. Occasionally I'll have a good experience but for the most part using Metlink leaves me feeling queasy. One up for them is their online journey planner.
