      My husband and I really enjoyed our lunch and wine at Wairau River Restaurant. The chowder was delicious. The service was efficient and the staff were friendly, we did not feel rushed at all. We even got a chance to sample the wines which were also very palatable.

      While passing through Blenheim, did a quick review of the top restaurants and this one had the best menu that suited us. Got the burger with a wine to match. Delicious! Great friendly service, beautiful setting, was the perfect spot to have lunch in the sun whilst passing through. Highly recommend!

      We had lunch there which consisted of the cheese platter & pate platter, both were very nicely presented. Both had enough condiments and we each had a coffee each and both were impressed. Great location, with awesome outdoor seating.
