Wairau River Wines

My husband and I really enjoyed our lunch and wine at Wairau River Restaurant. The chowder was delicious. The service was efficient and the staff were friendly, we did not feel rushed at all. We even got a chance to sample the wines which were also very palatable.

Wow, what a fabulous place to come and relax all while enjoying some beautiful wine and possibly the best food around! I honestly could not fault at all .very good customer service too . love the wine over here .

We went there for lunch with friends and had a great experience, a great combination of wines and delicious meals. The ambiance is awesome.

What a great spot. Service was fantastic and food was of great quality and taste. Staff went above and beyond. Child friendly..Wine was beautiful and well priced..Keep up the great work. Beautiful garden for relaxing and having a glass of wine.

We had a lunch here recently which was absolutely fantastic! We Actually read the below review and followed the advice as we are both chicken liver pate lovers and we were not disappointed. We really enjoyed the Riesling and the staff were fabulous! Highly recommended.
