Wairau River Wines

We went there for lunch with friends and had a great experience, a great combination of wines and delicious meals. The ambiance is awesome.

Lunch on a busy weekend and the restaurant quickly filled but plenty of space between tables and the noise level wasn't high at all.
Food was excellent - recommend chicken liver pate as a starter for two and the beef was as beef should be cooked. Succulent, moist and so tender.
The chilli prawn as a main for my partner was highly rated - best prawns he said.
After such good food decided not to have dessert but coffee was good.
Recommend reservation - can be done online and quick response.
Plenty of off-street parking.
Wine cellar attached to restaurant.

While passing through Blenheim, did a quick review of the top restaurants and this one had the best menu that suited us. Got the burger with a wine to match. Delicious! Great friendly service, beautiful setting, was the perfect spot to have lunch in the sun whilst passing through. Highly recommend!

One of the many fabulous vineyards and cellar doors in the Marlborough region. Lovely location, food is stunning and presented beautifully, staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. Could spend all day here!
