Honey Centre & Cafe

I have fond memories of this place for visits with a school group as a child. The tours they do are lovely, and very informative. Worth a stop on your way north or south, as they have a lovely little giftshop with delicious honeys.

What a cool little place to stop. Great place to see what sort of honey you like as there is a little table to taste test all the different types of honey, Who knew how different they all taste. A huge variety of honeys available and a great little café on site to sit and enjoy a little bit of tranquility on the way up north. Prices are actually quite good considering the honey available. Customer service was great and very tolerant of children and friendly. Awesome little stop and a must see.

This is a handy stop off point while travelling on the way north of Auckland. There is a shop where you can taste and purchase honey and other products. The food is ideal for a snack or lunch while you stop for a break.

My 4 year old loves the Queen Bee:)

Good food, great service and friendly staff. Consistently good coffee and worth a trip. The café has a great feel to it with refreshing décor and great hanging pot plants.
