      Situated in a charming 150 year old homestead, Riverside Café serves inspiring, delicious food, wonderful coffee, and a tempting selection of cakes. In winter relax inside by our log fire under our unique copper and crystal chandelier; in summer enjoy the wonderful views of the Richmond ranges from our artfully landscaped garden. And chill out year round on our large sheltered deck.

      This was our first visit to the Riverside Cafe. Pleasant surroundings, service was great, and the food fresh, generous and delicious.

      From all the fabulous food we ate I especially LOVED the Mud Cake! It was chocolate and banana, and underneath the chocolate icing was gooey caramel

      Morning coffee. Just delightful . The brioche was warm, just baked and smelt as good as it tasted. The coffee which I have black was nice too. There are many places to sit both inside the former house or outside. We choose outside under the Verlander looking over the cactus garden.
