Hamilton International Airport

This is a well set out, small, airport. They have a lovely cafe with delicious food. Comfy chairs to sit on and watch planes land!

An excellent Airport to travel in and out of. Easy to get to and not the busy bustling airport congestion like Auckland. I did not know this was an international airport as I have only ever known it as a domestic airport with flights internally. One great thing about Hamilton Airport over some of the bigger Airports in NZ (like Auckland for example) is that one can catch a flight without needing to have luggage scanned or xrayed. I understand the safety and security aspect, but the invasive nature of it all can be a bit much. You can relax with your flight out of Hamilton Airport and car parking at airport is a "breeze."

Has cheap parking and a great cafe. Staff are amazing.

A small and quiet airport. Such a shame they don't do international flights but in saying that it's a very handy airport. The cafe was nice

Cute little airport, let's hope some other airlines from overseas join the mix.
