Hamilton International Airport

Plenty of parking, clean airport

An excellent Airport to travel in and out of. Easy to get to and not the busy bustling airport congestion like Auckland. I did not know this was an international airport as I have only ever known it as a domestic airport with flights internally. One great thing about Hamilton Airport over some of the bigger Airports in NZ (like Auckland for example) is that one can catch a flight without needing to have luggage scanned or xrayed. I understand the safety and security aspect, but the invasive nature of it all can be a bit much. You can relax with your flight out of Hamilton Airport and car parking at airport is a "breeze."

Tidy and small airport. Lots of parking and a wide pick up and drop off area for the size of the airport. Only one gate and easy signage so you cant get lost here

This airport is tidy and well set up. There is loads of parking for catching the plane. You are able to drive out the front of the airport to drop passengers off so you don't have go into paid parking.

Love this airport as everything is small and quick. Beautiful spot up top when sunny, you can see all of the planes arriving & have a drink at the same time.
