Lone Star Gisborne

Lone Star Gisborne is right on the wharf, so it’s the perfect spot to watch boats come and go and the sun go down as you enjoy a tasty meal. The staff are always exceptionally welcoming, friendly and professional. And, as for the food, Lone Star never fails to deliver - we always leave feeling full and very satisfied! I often order the Dixie Chicken, which is just divine! And if you go on your birthday and let staff know when you book, they’ll often surprise you with a free dessert. They’re also very accommodating of children, and always offer our little girl some coloured pencils and something to colour in as soon as we get to our table. So children are well-catered for.
If you go for a meal at Lone Star Gisborne, you can expect it to be family-friendly, with excellent service, delicious food and fantastic views from your table.

Tried to book a group for dinner. Told us, that the biggest group they could accomodate was 8. Didn’t want the business, so we went elsewhere.

Great staff welcoming and warm and funny the location has beautiful veiws if the water nice clean decor and our nachos were cooked perfectly with cheese and bacon melted over the perfect chilli beans the fish was cooked and seasoned well with vegetables and the cheesecake was fresh well cooked and sweet overall a beautiful dining experience and would reccomend

Lovely place and atmosphere is great. The ribs are delicious and the waitresses were very friendly and talkative. Definitely recommend

The service at Gisborne Lone Star is fantastic, as is the location. We have always enjoyed eating there and will be back!
