Our fiction sections are unsurpassed in the South Island and we carry a wide range of classic, contemporary and new writers. We stock all Otago university and polytechnic textbooks, and also have 2nd hand textbooks available for those studying at the University of Otago. Our dedicated textbook store at UBS On Campus is conveniently located in the OUSA Archway. For our younger booklovers we have the captivating Children¿s Room and Book Shop downstairs, with story-time on the magic carpet every Friday and Saturday at 10.30am. Best selection of books in town. Located perfectly for the students they cater so well for. Beautiful store in lovely old building. Reminds me of the bookstores you see on tv programmes. A real joy to shop here, all it needs is a cafe and it would be perfect.

Best bookshop! Love visiting here. Buying books here is an absolute treat. The whole experience is wonderful. It has a lovely calming vibe. Children love the children's area. If you want to introduce children to books and buy them a little treat - I would highly recommend. Staff are wonderful. 5% discount for students.
