Otago Museum

Always grab a coffee here when taking the kids into the museum, its a must have!

Great cafe with an excellent range of menu, staff are friendly and polite. I recommend this place.

A great venue on a cold, rainy Dunedin (summer!) day. Visited the Jewelled Gecko (new to the Museum, the regular exhibitions and the cafe (where the cafe card ticked over a free coffee - yay!). No special exhibits on at the moment which was a shame.

There are national treasures here and the exhibits are well maintained and interesting. There is a mummy there too. A good cafe is vital for families and a play area is included on the ground floor. We have been there many times to explore section by section because there is so much interesting things to see.

Great museum. Interactive displays are awesome for kids. Butterfly sanctuary are an added bonus.
