## How a Freedom Medical Alarm Works

1. In case of a medical emergency or fall, press the red button on your medical alarm pendant (Wrist band, Brooch or necklace).
2. This sends a signal to your base unit which is either plugged into your phone line or on a mobile network.
3. Within seconds, a trained triage specialist will receive the alarm and attempt to contact you via the base unit's 2 way speaker.
4. If there is no response or attention is requested by the patient, an ambulance will be dispatched to your home.

In the late 1980s, Dion was one of the first licensed Private Investigators to carry out investigation assignments on behalf of the ACC. Dion was also a member of a multi-discipline investigation team responsible for the successful conviction of over 20 offenders in the High Court of New Zealand, this lengthy and complex investigation also resulted in the disestablishment of a sophisticated criminal syndicate.

In 1987, Dion was tasked to protect a Wellington business owner from serious threats of violence, this assignment was the catalyst for Dion to launch Protective Services. Dion has worked within international high-risk environments, he managed the security for a New Zealand representative sports team on tour in South Africa.

Dion also established a security business that was later acquired by Group 4 Security (G4S). Dion accepted a senior management position with G4S, he was responsible for over 200 operational security staff. Dion has protected the rich and famous, including Sting, Bardot, Eminem, Jamie Oliver, Tony Hawk, Sir Elton John, Sir Peter Jackson and Film Talent from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
