Lion Budokan Karate International, NZ has been training Karate and Self Defense to kids over 6-year old, youth and adults since 2013.

The initiative of launching Kids Karate has been long awaited. We have seen a great demand and a need for quality training for younger kids in the community.

Our pathway connects students completing their kids training at Budokan Academy into a smooth transition of LBKIs regular courses and belt system.

At Brooklyn Kids, we believe that as an Early Education Centre we have an important part to play in the Wellington community and a very special opportunity to positively impact young childrens lives in their early stages of development.

With a safe and nurturing daycare environment for your child, we provide a place for children to learn, develop and grow through social interaction in an engaging environment, carefully set up by kaiako, with lots of opportunities to explore and learn.

Our centre caters for tamariki aged 0-6yrs and we are open 7.30am  5.30pm, Monday  Friday. Nestled in the heart of Brooklyn Village, we are easy to find and within a short distance of Te Aro, Mt Cook and Newtown in Wellington Central. This makes us a natural choice for busy parents and local families in the community.

Your child will love the well laid out learning corners at our Wellington CBD childcare centre, consisting of a family play area, creative art corner as well as a quiet space for reading and reflection.  Theres also plenty of natural resources with space to explore.

Our daycare teaching team is made up of passionate, experienced teachers who are warm, welcoming and naturally wonderful people. Our qualified Early Childhood Educators bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team and their special connection with our children is cherished and supported in our childcare centre.

Our trained Pharmacists can dispense and provide advice on Urinary Tract Infection Antibiotics, Sildenafil (Vigara/Vedafil) for Erectile Dysfunction, Conjuctivitis (Eye Infection) Antibiotics, Emergency Contraceptive Pill (Morning After Pill), and Prescription Medications.
