      The Village Bakehouse specialises in traditional French and speciality breads, fine pastries and brioches, French wedding cakes & gateaux, meat pies, savouries, quiches, biscuits, cookies, scones, muffins, filled rolls and sandwiches, and coffee to go. We also provide a range of gluten free breads, biscuits and gateaux, as well as made to order French treats such as Paris-Brests, flans, pate and quiche Lorraine. Our bakery is conveniently close to the University of Canterbury, College of Education, Burnside High School and Westburn School.

      Amazing bakery, staff are super friendly. Fantastic coffee, and all of the food is incredible. I've had pies, sandwiches, all types of sweet food and couldn't recommend this bakery any more highly.
