Smash Palace

It’s a great spot, especially when it’s all lit up at night. Most of the seating is outside, there is a little bit undercover. Well priced drinks and friendly staff.

Went there during winter, enjoyed the warmth and food was great.

Quirky, fun and possibility of a roof of stars in enhanced by streams of fairy lights in the evening! Akin to quirkiness, the bar is inside of an old bus and is packed with craft beers which are a bit pricy but it is to be expected. Perfect place for an hour or several depending on depth of pockets and amount of alcohol consumption. Menu is decent also, smash is well worth a visit or several.

Fantastic quirky bar in an ever improving part of Christchurch. The drinks are reasonably price and a good selection. Staff and friendly. Setting is really good and the atmosphere and starting area outside are both great! Would definitely come back here and have a drink with mates again!

A friend introduced us to this fantastic beer and burger emporium, we loved it so much that we made a couple of visits during our short stay in Christchurch, we were made to feel very welcome by Henry and the rest of the staff, Thursday bike night was amazing, everything two wheel related was there, they even have a workshop where folks can tinker with their bikes.
