Smash Palace

We spent New Years here and were pleasantly surprised. The people were very friendly, the queues were long but understandable. We will definitely be back again, maybe when its not so busy.

Great atmosphere and buzz about Smash Palace. The staff are friendly and remember people who come regularly. Food is always delivered hot, fresh and fast. The only downside is that there are no non-smoking areas, so it can be very hard to find a spot where you aren't getting cigarette smoke.
Creative setting with great music, and mix of covered or open seating.

This is located in the Christchurch city centre. I managed to get an off-street car park. Ordered the blueburger and a glass of pinot noir. The beef pattie and blue cheese went well together. I sat at the outdoor area to sip my wine while I enjoyed the evening sun. Price was reasonable. Atmosphere was cosy. Staff was polite.

Great beer options and casual atmosphere. More of a laid back option for casual drink after work than other bars. Its all outdoors though so be prepared to rug up on a cold night.

Such a nice wee place to hang out, a very casual and happy atmosphere. Tasty drinks and delicious kai. A very nice place to sit outside on a warm evening.
