The Auckland War Memorial Museum

Excellent attraction for a day out, free for Aucklanders with proof of address. This includes free entry to exhibitions that they run, we spent over two hours in the wildlife photography exhibition recently! The standard exhibits within the museum itself don't change very often, however.

Very good place to visit on a rainy day. Very interesting exhibits, which change every now and then. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Parking is usually better on the weekday, but not impossible on the weekends.

A great treasure to Auckland and New Zealand it has all of our history and is a wonderful place to visit. Everyone should go there at least one.

A real special place for aucklanders. And the domain is actually one of the many volcanoes we all live on. When visiting there, you re able to be transported to another time. With all the artifacts , many of which have been donated by the public on the death of family. There is also access for people to go the library and reserve material to be brought up from the archives. I did this on my great grandfathers papers. It was so cool. I got to see what he personally had written . Truly do recommend doing that. If the museum has your family records
