my food arrived promptly, and was superb. Everything that I selected was excellent. I have been here a few times and always found the staff to be really polite and easy to deal with.

Cracking place. Strong review game as seen below. Popped in to try and save a date night after a fruitless attempt to get into Milse the dessert place in Britomart. Tanukis was just perfect, had a gallon of warm sake, sat at the bar with my beautiful wife, no pressure to eat. Enjoyed watching the samurai style approach to preparing minute detail on the plates.

This place used to be great. I went there recently for the first time in a while and was so disappointed. The food was below average, the ingredients were cheap and processed, the skewers were under cooked, the BBQ chef seemed to have lost his skills. Or was there a change in ownership?

Always popular with tasty Japanese style tapas. So many options here! Lots of little dishes to share and enjoy. Great atmosphere and the perfect place to begin your night out with great food and drink. The atmosphere keeps me going back again, and again.
