Speights Ale House

I like this chain of restaurants but find this location to be very inconsistent.
Food was late and undercooked yet staff seemed to have time on their hands. Customer focus could be improved.

Good pub food and presented well. Friendly staff. We came for breakfast and only have given lower score because when we ordered side of mushroom it was literally one mushroom for $5.

Today’s mussels were in Thai sauce, although good but it would be nice to have the precious menu alongside as another option. Would have given this review a 5 star but service was a bit slow even though it was not peak hours around 1.30 pm ish. We were in no hurry hence didn’t mind the wait.

Came here on a Sunday night and the service was not the best, host and wait staff did not acknowledge us when we were there. As they were fully booked we were given the choice to dine at the bar area. We sat there for 15minutes until we finally waved down a waiter who then came and took our order then food took over half an hour to come out. Overall the service was terrible. Wait staff did not smile once over the 2 hours we were there. The Sunday roast was tasteless but pork ribs and black cherry chicken was amazing ! Highly recommend if you were to eat here!

Really good food and service. Staff are all friendly deal well when busy. Food is quick and reasonably priced. They put on a good quiz night every Monday.
