Speights Ale House

One of my favourite local pubs. The food seems pricy at first, but the serving sizes are huge! The ale bread, halloumi salad, and chips are easily shared between two people. The oysters here are fantastic. The wide selection of house beers are fantastic too. Live music here is always great. Warm in the winter time by the fire.

Always good service and reasonable price. I always book if I want to eat in the restaurant as it can be very busy, but you can eat in the bar area. The outside area is now more enclosed and warmer for this time of year, great improvement.

Great place to catch up with ex work colleges on a Friday afternoon. Easy parking and spacious environment. Decent food and outside views.
