      Went to visit a friend in hospital. The lobby area where the food is located is great, they have Columbus cafe, subway, sushi store, pharmacy and a florist. This was great as I got to buy my friend flowers and some food. I got lost so I went to the info desk and asked for directions and the lady that showed me the way was very helpful. The nurses dealing with my friend were very gentle and polite. The price for car parks were very expensive. The hospital is very clean and huge. Great that the train station is right across from the hospital.

      Gave birth to my daughter here and the staff were excellent. The staff were very helpful and very polite. The maternity ward was very close to the parking lot and it was very easy to find. Very clean hospital and great location right across from a train station.

      I dread ever needing to go to the hospital because it’s this one. Apart from the Lab test area and especially the angels of the place the NICU staff that did an amazing above & beyond job with my daughter & every baby that comes in the rest of the parts of the hospital I have been in over the last 30 years has been dreadful or worst a traumatic experience more than once (later finding out mistakes were made 4 separate times) I could go on.

      I had my baby at their birthing unit 3 weeks ago with my midwife away so just the on duty midwives. Had a really quick labour and the first midwife was amazing, however the second one gave me a lot of grief over choosing not to breastfeed - nothing to do with her though. I then got discharged to after birth care without any discharge form and I also found out while trying to get a birth certificate that even three weeks later there has been a hold up in registering my little one because middlemore did not complete a notification of birth correctly - definitely not a good hospital to deal with when it comes to filling out forms or even obtaining your own information.

      Went to middlemore for a back surgery in april, the staff were amazing. They were so busy but always managed to help with what i needed after a rough journey in surgery. All the staff from the surgeons to the cleaners were amazing. Thank you so much I can walk again with not much pain
