Middlemore Hospital

Went to middlemore for a back surgery in april, the staff were amazing. They were so busy but always managed to help with what i needed after a rough journey in surgery. All the staff from the surgeons to the cleaners were amazing. Thank you so much I can walk again with not much pain

Lovely staff and doctors. Had a very good stay and am completely satisfied with the service received.

I've been in developing nations so I am ok with a crown level of cleanliness lacking. But for a country as advanced as ours I an saddened by the state of middlemore, the cleanliness, the food service, even the pressure of staff making them irritable is just unacceptable.

Was not impressed as there was only one working toilet in emergency care but the staff were good

Its easy to find and navigate and plenty of parking. However all the District Health Boards need to address their parking fees. We visited a very unwell family member, $8.20 for 70 minutes!! The hospital room really needed cleaning badly, there was medical debris on the floor and left on the patient's drink table. The tv charges are high - $8 per day for Sky (5 hours) or $5 per day for freeview (5 hours). The staff are hard working and very busy.
