      I had a really nice stay here a couple weekends ago. We were up for a friends birthday and the location was perfect for us. The room was tidy and the beds comfy.

      This is now known as the Grand Mercure, and has had a real upgrade since my last stay. Very nice now. Check out the doughnuts cafe in the old parking lane - great place to walk through and grab a coffee and slice or sandwich. Conveniently located to Britomart.

      We recently had a team breakfast at Vue in the Grand Mercure, and it was amazing. Highly recommended. The staff were great, friendly and professional. The buffet breakfast was perfect, so many options for even the fussiest eaters. Thanks so much!

      The reception and Dining areas are very nice looking but the halls and rooms were seriously in need of some repairs, wall paper was coming off etc and it just looked a bit budget to be honest. The Buffet Breakfast was very nice though and there was a nice variety to choose from. The location of the hotel was good.
