      staff in the lobby could be more friendly and inviting. the staff in the restaurant and the restaurant upstairs however is very lovely. the roomscould do with a cleanup and update.

      The foyer is a little deceiving as it looks modern, tidy and new, yet the rest of the hotel is very dated. This hotel needs a major face lift. I won't be returning any time soon, which is a shame as the location is excellent.

      The reception and Dining areas are very nice looking but the halls and rooms were seriously in need of some repairs, wall paper was coming off etc and it just looked a bit budget to be honest. The Buffet Breakfast was very nice though and there was a nice variety to choose from. The location of the hotel was good.

      Unfortunately not a great hotel, unsure what the nightly rate was as we stayed there for work, but rooms were not very nice and there was mould in the bathroom. Only thing that was good was the location very close to the Viaduct and Auckland Central.
