Lone Star Cafe & Bar

The ribs are the highlight of the restaurant. Lonestar is suitable for all occassions; kids birthdays, milestones, engagement and wedding parties, literally any event. The bar staff are a breath of fresh air and very entertaining and customer focussed. A good selection of drinks, although some of the cocktails are a tad expensive. Service isnt slow, but it isnt quick either.

Doesn't have much parking, and staff are polite. But my food and beverage had come out approximately 10 minutes after everyone else at my table which show there organisation isn't very well. Didn't really like eating my food when everyone had already finished made me fell rude. This was definitely a bad experience for me. On the bright side the food was great.

Ribs here are fantastic and also the steak YUM! Lots of parking around and easy to find. Staff are nice and friendly.

Plenty of parking and bright bubbly service from the wait staff. We were taken to our table quickly and our drinks order was taken immediately. As soon as our drinks came out, we ordered our meals. Within 20 minutes or meals were out, fresh and hot. The kids love the atmosphere here, and so did I. Its family friendly, or perfect for that date night. Regardless of the event or occasion, lonestar is a great place to dine.

We used to come here all the time for their ribs. However last time we were there, we had invited visitors from overseas and there were five of us. One of the meals came over 40 minutes later than the rest of them, no apology or offer of discount or anything. And then the waitress asked us to vacate the table within minutes of serving the last meal, because they had a queue of people waiting to be seated. Not good enough, and we haven't been back since.
