Remember to use One card upon payment as this accumulates and can be redeemed for countdown dollars. A lot of Australian products available as its part of Woolworth supermarkets chain in Australia. Remember to bring your shopping bag with you as no longer are free ones provided with purchases. Typically, countdown has plenty of of street parking for those who shop there.

They have good prices and good quality food

Ive used various Countdowns over the years and have completely stopped going to the Birkenhead one. In general I find Countdowns have a depressing atmosphere. On top of this, the Birkenhead one have removed all but two of the people operators and replaced them with machines. The operators that are left are some of the slowest in action and look depressed, and I don't blame them. I find basics very hard to locate in the store and it's to do with the poor layout. Honestly I wish I could say something positive but I am struggling.

Usually pretty good with friendly staff that help make it a good experience
