Great place with various products in different range. It always comes with a good deal price. Very convenience locations. Staffs are professional and friendly

Ive used various Countdowns over the years and have completely stopped going to the Birkenhead one. In general I find Countdowns have a depressing atmosphere. On top of this, the Birkenhead one have removed all but two of the people operators and replaced them with machines. The operators that are left are some of the slowest in action and look depressed, and I don't blame them. I find basics very hard to locate in the store and it's to do with the poor layout. Honestly I wish I could say something positive but I am struggling.
