Always an enjoyable experience at Azabu. Unique style of cuisine - Nikkei style which is Peruvian Japanese, although this place is more Japanese than Peruvian. Great selection of drinks, and always good quality food. Amazing sashimi and ceviche, creative dessert and great mains. The octopus is particularly great with the purple potato mash. The lunch bento sets can be great value if you are looking for something a little upscale for lunch - highly recommended

Nice staff here, cozy place.The karaage chicken was a bit dry but the sauce was sweet and spicy and the perfect consistency. The pork belly was also dry unfortunately but the skin was the perfect level of crispiness. The sauce and salad on the side paired perfectly with the pork too. Highly recommended and will be back try more.

Amazing japanese fusion that never fails to please. From the subtle atmosphere to the award winning cocktails, this restaurant is doing everything right. Their service is also consistently top notch. An examplar for Auckland’s dining scene. I’ve tried 90% of the menu and can safely say there won’t be anything you won’t like.
