The best place to dine in Auckland . Azabu combines the best of Japanese and Peruvian cuisines to offer something truly unique. The food is extremely flavoursome and well seasoned. It is plainly evident the effort that has gone to plan the menu and kudos to the chefs for executing it so well. An absolute favourite and a must must visit in Auckland albeit being slightly on the high end in terms of cost but so worth it. No complains! There s also an amazing cocktail bar at the back so one can relax and have a drink whilst waiting or a table! Most recommended.

Hands down the best Japanese in NZ (of the ones ive tried and I love Japanese food) Service was immaculate. Everything was so fresh and cooked to perfection. The prawns literally melted in your mouth. If i lived in Auckland I would be here everyday. A must try.

Great food and the excellent staff explained different dishes. Long narrow restaurant and noisey. Would be great if it was in a wider building space.

Staff we're friendly and attentive, and food came out quick. My favourites were the grilled octopus (starter), seared beef tostada with the truffle sesame dressing (starter), the crispy pork belly (main), and the nikkei steak (main). We tried all of their 3 desserts and my favourites were the charcoal black meringue and the tapioca with orangr coconut meringue
