Azabu

Azabu is one of those places you want to go back to and you haven’t even left yet.

It’s amazing how fast the restaurant fills up. Even on a Monday night! I highly recommend booking a table.

Sitting up on the raw bar was a treat. Watching the chefs and seeing how much care and precision goes into each dish was pretty cool.

Everything we ate was delicious. Best tempura I’ve had. So light and crispy. The steak melted in my mouth. And the sauce it came with made it next level.

smooth operation and well thought out lay out. Fun exciting menu easily enough shared or for one. the signature negroni was exceptional, sashimi, volcano roll, crab bao, beef short rib, goyza. sides all top notch.

Amazing Japanese experience. The sushi and sashimi are so authentic and the chef is just great! They have the freshest of the seafood available and the whole experience it was just great!

Amazing japanese fusion that never fails to please. From the subtle atmosphere to the award winning cocktails, this restaurant is doing everything right. Their service is also consistently top notch. An examplar for Auckland’s dining scene. I’ve tried 90% of the menu and can safely say there won’t be anything you won’t like.
